Joe is a decorated Vietnam Veteran, who served his country in the 4th Infantry Division for 3 years in the U.S. Army.  When Joe was discharged, he came back to the states to go to college and earn his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  He was involved with a start up company that did testing of patients with pacemakers. He earned his MBA in Business and Finance from Columbia University. Joe went on to pursue his passion in the financial industry, working for Equitable and EQ Financial. After 3 years, he decided to become independent and in 1996 started Barreiro & Associates.  In 2017, Joe and his partner Marilyn started Wealth Creation Management Group. Joe has the Series 26, 63 and 66 licenses and is the Managing Partner and CEO of Wealth Creation Management Group.

Joe is an avid golfer and attends several charity events during the year. He also provides initial financial consulting to all Veterans at no cost.  He lives in Monroe, NY with his wife Judi, who is a mother of 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.

After working for a CPA for 5 years, Marilyn established her own client base and worked to develop customer’s individual accounting systems and office procedures.  She began working with Joe Barreiro at Barreiro & Associates in 2006. Following ten years as Joe’s assistant handling many aspects of account servicing, Marilyn began her journey to become a licensed financial advisor.  In 2017, she became Joe’s partner as the business transitioned into Wealth Creation Management Group. Now in addition to her Bachelors Degree in Accounting, she has her Series 66 license, and is the Chief Investment and Chief Financial Officer of Wealth Creation Management Group, with registrations in 6 states. 

Marilyn lives in Sugar Loaf, NY with her husband Jeff, where they raised three boys.  She and Jeff are foodies who love exploring farmer's markets, new restaurants and food tours.

Becky began her career as an event management professional after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Maryland. She spent 15 years working in non-profits, large corporations and private event venues in the NY/NJ area. In April of 2018, Becky received her Paralegal Certificate from Boston University and decided that after 15 years in the event planning business it was time to transition to new career prospects.

Becky joined the team at Wealth Creation Management Group in April 2019. She brings strong customer relationship skills, acute attention to detail, and IT and social media expertise to help deliver the best client experience possible.

Becky lives in Washingtonville, NY with her husband and two sons. They enjoy hiking in Minnewaska State Park, exploring in Beacon, NY and traveling with their families.
